La Michoacana Skokie/Lincolnwood

Good people, good service, good atmosphere. It's just beside Walmart once you are done shopping you can relax and eat at this great clean place. They have 3 ice cream cups I took the bigger one which was around 7.5 I guess and I got to try 2 different scopes of ice cream. I tried strawberry cheesecake ice cream and pistachio tasted excellent . I will bring my friends over in future.

The chicken tinga taco we tried was top notch. Happy to find this place right beside Walmart. Staff was very friendly and patient. Would definitely recommend this place. I have gone to other fancy as well as local places around but for me chicken tinga taco from here is best so far. I have only have more good things to say about this place. I ordered via door dash and the food was so well kept and yummy. kudos to this place.

This place was authentic for halal Mexican food but I don’t know why they have closed

WoW , I’m so impressed with this “La Michoacana Location” ! They are located on Touhy ave, next to Walmart and across from PNC bank , This place is the cleanest and organized restaurant I bing on the neighborhood , you can see from the outside window how clean and perfect they prepare your food .. I was staring at the window while they were preparing my food..like !..They have the BEST halal Taco , Burrito, Quesadilla, and Home Made ice cream with All Natural ingredient that you can see , The stuff is very friendly and informative the owner “Sohail “,was telling me about how much he care about the all natural ingredients they use with Colombian mangoes and Italian components for the ice cream and Mexican recipes ..they speak English, Spanish , Pakistani ..what else can you ask for! ..I 100% Recommend this Place!

Best location, especially with halal options on food. The mangonada here is the best, I've tried plenty of different locations. Their ice cream is quite different than other places, tastes a lot more homemade and less processed.

So first thing is first. This place is 100% Zabihah Halal so it scores major points for being the first Zabihah halal La Michoacana. Next is their food, it’s fresh and flavorful. We got a chicharon preparado and added steak to it and it was delicious to say the least. The elote we ordered was also very fresh and tasteful. Not only do they have halal Mexican food but they also sell Pakistani kulfis which are some of the best available in Chicago. Now for customer service I have never had better customer service at any other la Michoacana. They greeted me nicely and were patient as I looked at the menu. This la Michoacana is a must visit place and I will definitely be coming back here.

My kids love the ice cream here.

The staff is always very helpful. The only thing that it takes them a bit time to get the order done.
